How it works.

When you begin a session a new browser window will open. At the end of the session, click the 'exit' button in the bottom right hand corner to end the webchat.

Advisers only handle one contact at a time so you always have their full attention.

You may notice slight time delays during the conversation while an adviser is finding out the right information and thinking about their response to you.

Please do not open more than one window at a time; this will not shorten your wait for an adviser as the web chat that you opened first will be the first to be answered. We appreciate your patience during busy times.

Webchat and Schools and Colleges

You can talk individually to an adviser using web chat while at school or college. BUT if a whole class tries to access the service at once it may stop a young person in need getting through.

So, if you want to access the service as part of a lesson, tell your teacher or tutor that they can email teachersupport@cxdirect.com to discuss their requirements in advance.
